Founded by National Geographic filmmaker Shannon Wild, Wild In Africa Bracelets for Wildlife is offering a Remote Marketing and Business Development Internship with a duration of 2-3 months.

For our online bracelets brand which contributes directly to wildlife conservation, We are looking to scale up our sales & marketing operations with a versatile intern who is willing to learn and happy to work in a mutli-task and international environment.Β 

You will work remotely and be required to be available 15-20 hours per week.

Note: this is an unpaid internship

Responsibilities

  • Working to help build our thriving brand with new ideas centred around new marketing strategies and other avenues related to obtaining new clients.

  • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research with the goal of driving follower growth, reach, and engagement through our various social communities…cultivating leads and sales.

  • Analyze and identify optimization areas, e.g.search trends, visitor engagement, conversion, user interaction

  • Create and implement an actionable plan and recommendations for improving how visitors find and use our website

  • Helping plan, build, manage and optimize communications with existing clients, as well as curating strategies to assist in gaining clients.

  • Performing market research and reviewing industry statistics to develop content and marketing campaign strategies to optimize marketing efforts.

  • Performing keyword research, ad copy (content) to keep campaigns within performance expectations and to meet performance goals.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English

  • Passionate about online marketing

  • Excellent creative writing and verbal skills

  • Graphic design skills a major plus

  • Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications

  • Familiarity with social media strategies and platforms

  • Experience in Marketing strategy

  • Familiar with Google Suite

  • Ability to multi-task and take initiative

  • Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
