There are a few moment on ones career that truly takes the breath away, this was one of them as a cheetah takes a brief moment to look back over her shoulder as she's touched lightly in the subtle golden light of days end with a stunning rainbow and building storm in the distance. Even after almost two decades working as a wildlife photographer, it's moments like this that make me pinch myself just to make sure it's real and not all a wonderful dream.

    Photographed February, 2021. South Africa.

Fine art wildlife prints by our founder, internationally awarded National Geographic photographer and filmmaker, Shannon Wild.
