Portrait of a baby next to its mother's Ohumba. The most iconic piece of jewellery for a married Himba woman is a necklace called ‘ohumba'. Made of metal beads that support a shell, it is a symbol of fertility, and passed down from one generation to the next.

Tribal portrait photographed 11 September, 2015. South Africa.
